The first group of tourists from the Benelux tomorrow in Ohrid

The first group of Benelux tourists will arrive tomorrow at Ohrid airport “St. Apostle Paul” with charter flight from Amsterdam of the Dutch tour operator “Corendon”, which practically starts the summer tourist season in Ohrid – Struga Riviera.

These tourists have leased arrangements of “Corendon” with their Macedonian partner “Fibula Air – travel”, while the second charter with tourists from Benelux is scheduled for May 8, with arrangements through a tour operator “TUI Arketravel”.

As Donco Taneski fromHOTAM explained, the last flight back to the Benelux is scheduled for October 2, meaning the active presence of tourists from this part of Europe in the Ohrid – Struga Riviera in a period of about 160 days.

- It means that in the following period in Ohrid and Struga weekly around 900 guests from Benelux will be staying, they will be accommodated in 15 hotels, some of them in 20 private suites, Taneski said.

The first confirmation of increased sales of holiday arrangements in Macedonia was at the last days of the great tourism fair in Utrecht, held in January, which was later confirmed by the increased number of booking accommodation in Ohrid and Struga
