Zlatkova Kula in Kratovo to Be Restored

The project for conservation and restoration of Zlatkova Kula, a significant 14th century cultural monument in Kratovo, is in the final stages of development, says the Ministry of Culture. The project is funded by the United States Embassy, a grant for protection of cultural heritage.

Teams from the National Conservation Center will work on the restoration of the tower's interior and its adaptation into a space for affirmation and culture and cultural tourism in the town. Zlatkova Kula is a threestorey tower named after its last owner Gjorgi Zlatkov.

The Ministry of Culture has already funded the conservation of Zlatkova Kula architecture, in the framework of the program for supporting projects of national interest.
