Four hotels, two in Berovo, and two in Pehchevo are currently being built in two municipalities, which are expected significantly to improve the tourist offer in the area of Malesh. Two hotels should be fully ready for this season, while two other for next summer ‘s tourist season, Dnevnik writes.
After years of non-working, and the destruction, the hotel “Macedonia” in the center of Berovo recently after the last owner was mortgaged, was purchased by company “Gligorov” from Strumica, which two weeks ago began with complete reconstruction and extension.
As the newspaper writes, the new owner announced that by June, the hotel will be completely finished and will have sauna, swimming pool, and mini spa resort. In the tourist settlement Suvi Laki last year another company from Strumica started with building attractive complex with houses in ethno style, some of which have been completed, with sports fields, small lakes, fishpond, while the luxury hotel should be completed next year.
Apart from two small hotels in tourist settlement Ravna Reka in Pehchevo, for 16 years after hotel “Panorama” was being closed there is no hotel capacity. For two or three months is planned to be completed the hotel in the center of city. The Company “Kit-go” from Shtip recently bought the former hotel “Panorama”, whose last owner was “Slavia” Skopje.
