Promotion of Macedonia's Tourist Offer at London Fair -World Travel Market-

Macedonia's Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism is presenting for the second time the country's tourist offer at the World Travel Market taking place in London on November 25.

Macedonian delegation, led by the Agency's Director, Lela Krstevska, has numerous meetings with top officials of tourist agencies from Nigeria, Guatemala, US, Hungary, Slovakia, Seychelles and other countries.

The delegation also had an opportunity to invite CNN reporter Anthony Bourdain (author of culinary books and shows) to visit Macedonia and taste authentic national delicacies. Bourdain said he would consider the possibility to visit Macedonia next year and present it in his Parts Unknown show, the Agency said in a press release on Tuesday.

BBC's most distinguished journalists John Simpson has also accepted the Agency's invitation to come to Macedonia he had visited many years ago.

Krsteska and Daniela Wagner, the Director of International Partnerships of Connecting Travel, discussed possibilities for promotion of Macedonia as attractive tourist destination on Far East markets, such as China, Korea and India.

From the beginning of this month Macedonia has been enlisted in the Balkan Holidays 2016 brochure, offering 7day stay in Ohrid and first tourists from Britain should arrive next year, the press release reads.
