Germania to suspend Skopje flights

German airline Germania will suspend its flights from Berlin to Skopje Alexander the Great Airport at the start of the 2014/15 winter season, less than a year since the service was inaugurated on December 20, 2013. Flights initially operated twice per week but have since been reduced to a single weekly flight each Friday. The service will terminate on October 31. As a result, Skopje will no longer have direct links to the German capital. Flights have been operating with an Airbus A319.
