Hotel "Granit" in Ohrid gives a special mark to the Lake Hospitality and Hotel management for years. It constantly turns modern, follows the tourist requirements, and introduces novelties, reads Utrinski vesnik. This hotel has been the first one to have introduced all-inclusive offer this year. As the managers say, the initial experiences have been very good.
The manager of the hotel, Pero Kutanoski, systemizes the experiences with the new service, as an initial experiment in Macedonia.
"We began on May 9, with a group of domestic visitors as well as tourists from the Netherlands. Although we are the first in Macedonia, the experience has been positive for us, and according to the reactions, for the guests too. This step has been taken to ensure that our guests do not wander around, but to organize their time and services to get in the hotel. The cost of the all-inclusive package is the same for both domestic and foreign guests, because we do not classify our guests into domestic ones and foreigners. The cuisine is versatile, but we focus on local specialties, "says Kutanoski for" Untrinski ".
About the novelty with the all-inclusive services such as the hotel"Granit" have introduced this year, the president of HOTAM, Donco Tanevski says that is an enrichment of the offer and, as he has pointed out, it is in the part in which the hoteliers should stand out by improving the quality of the accommodation, the quality of offer in terms of entertainment for the guests in the hotel and everything included to complete an offer the Western tourists are used to.
Hotel "Granit" is situated on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The capacity is of 220 luxury beds, outdoor pool, snack bar, table tennis courts, fitness room and tennis courts. With all of it, the hotel is becoming one of the most elite accommodation capacities in Ohrid and Macedonia.
In both, mainly seasonal months, July and August the hotel was constantly with 80 to 90 percent occupancy, with some periods of full occupancy. From the foreigners the most present are Belgians staying from 7 till 22 days. The hotel "Granite" in general, is mostly occupied by foreigners with nearly 80 percent of the total visits, while the number of domestic visitors is drastically reduced as in three months there have been around 600 in total.
