'Alitalia' starts direct flight from Skopje to Rome

The airline company “Alitalia” introduces new direct line Skopje – Rome (Airport Fjumichino) as of May 2.




There will be flights every day conducted by E – jets Embraer 175. In May there will be reduced flight schedule with 30 flights Rome – Skopje – Rome, as of June complete daily flying schedule.

Starting with June 1, in Skopje planes of “Alitalia” will take off at 05:30 with the arrival time at Fjumichino Rome 7:20 (on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday), and at 17:05 with arrival in Rome at 18:55 (on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday).

Flights from Rome will are scheduled at 21:30 with arrival in Skopje at 23:20 (on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday) and 14:35 with arrival in Skopje at 16:25 (on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday).

- With this new direct connection to Rome, Alitalia currently aims to increase tourist traffic to the Italian capital, as well as directly to meet the growing demand for flights between Macedonia and Italy, which is result of increased economic cooperation and trade between the two countries, announced today the representative of “Alitalia” in Belgrade.

“Alitalia” appointed VAS Tour Operator LLC as general agent for Macedonia, which offers information and booking flights.
