Macedonia got airport, which is second consecutive year, the best in Europe in the category up to two million passengers.
Istanbul, Zurich, London, Vienna, and Malmo are the most popular destinations for traveling for citizens of Macedonia.
Last year the number of passengers was increased for 20 percent. Wizz Air has been operating with most of the aircrafts, followed by Turkish Airlines. Since May, there are almost daily direct flights from Skopje to Rome. Four new destinations to Cologne, Paris, and Brussels, Frankfurt from the Macedonian airports.
The number of destinations and passengers under the management of TAV Macedonia has increased because of government subsidies for low-budget companies and tourists.
