Macedonia in the first ten months of this year was visited by 5.2 percents more tourists which is for two percents greater number of nights spent in the same period last year, and the number of domestic tourists increased by 3 percents and foreign by 6,9 percents, inform from the State Statistical Office.
Decreased the number of overnight stays by 0.2 percents for domestic tourists, while the foreign tourist with increase of 5.4 percent.
In the country, in October stayed total 62 079 tourists who achieved 143 807 over nights i.e. increase of 1.3 percents in the number of tourists and 3.9 percent of over nights compared with the same month last year.
In addition, the number of domestic tourists was increased by 14.3 percent, and the number of foreign tourists decreased by 4.8 percent. Domestic tourists also achieved an increased number of overnight stays by 13.5 percent, and the number of nights spent by foreign tourists was decreased by 2.3 percent.
