The ninth edition of the open-sky street theater "Basker Fest 2014" will feature events throughout Macedonia, or in 21 municipality in total.
The Festival's official opening will be on May 27 at the Macedonia Square in Skopje, and other program events begin May 28 in the southern town of Gevgelija. Skopje will host the festival June 6-15, and will run through June 30 with performances in Ohrid, Dojran and Bitola.
This year’s novelty is the Basker Fest's after-parties which will be organized in the biggest clubs across the country, at which many of the festival’s "baskers" will perform, including famous DJs from Macedonia and abroad.
This time, Macedonia will welcome more than 150 actors, musicians and theater performers from all around the world, from Japan to Canada, Nigeria and New Zealand.
