Many local and foreign tourists are visiting our country for Easter holidays. Accommodation facilities and weekend cottages in the tourist resorts Suvi Laki, Klapalo, Ablanica, Bela Voda and Berovo Lake are fully booked. Mainly the tourists are from Skopje and Strumica, but there are also from Ohrid, Stip, Prilep and other places. Foreign tourists mostly come from Bulgaria.
"If we consider the interest during the Easter holidays, this year Berovo and Malesevo region will have a record number of visitors an a big profit from tourism", says Slobodanka Bundevska.
The Mayor of Berovo Dragi Nadzinski, the local self-government, the City Museum, the Cultural Center and KUD “Dimitar Berovski” are organizing several shows, exhibitions, concerts and folk parades. The biggest attraction is the traditional competition in Easter egg tapping and the competition for "Malesevo Easter Kacor (Hardest Egg)".
