The number of tourists in Macedonia in January was 30,836 and 65,019 overnight stays. Compared to January last year tourists and overnight stays are reduced by 2.9 percents, today announced the State Statistical Office.
In January this year, compared to January last year, the number of domestic tourists is decreased by 5.8 percents and 0.2 percents of foreign tourists. The number of nights spent by domestic tourists is decreased by 6.2 percents, while of foreign tourists is increased by 1 percentage.
The number of tourists in January 2014 compared to the previous month is decreased by 8.4 percents, and the number of domestic tourists is increased by 8.3 percents, while the foreign tourist is decreased by 19.5 percents. Decrease of 5.8 percents is recorded for the overnights. The number of domestic tourists is increased by 22.2 percents, while foreign tourist is decreased by 24.8 percents.
