Turkish Airlines has been sending its big birds to Skopje Alexander the Great Airport recently, enticing many spotters to get some unique shots. On Sunday, Turkish Airlines operated both its morning and evening service from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport to Skopje with the Airbus A330-300, which has the capacity to seat 289 passengers with 28 seats in business and the other 261 in economy class.
The morning service on Sunday was operated by one of the airline’s newest A330s which is only two years old. On Monday, October 7, the Turkish carrier will keep up the trend and operate its morning Skopje service with the A330-300 once again. However, come Monday evening, passengers will just have to enjoy the Airbus A319. In the first eight months of the year, Turkish Airlines was the second busiest carrier operating out the Macedonian capital, behind only Wizz Air.
