Promotion of monograph - 'Macedonia - Tourist Pearl'

The Ministry of Culture promoted Wednesday an illustrated monograph about Macedonia's tourist potentials and cultural-historic treasury.

The monograph 'Macedonia - Tourist Pearl', published in both Macedonian and English language, offers information about 350 attractive sites, 1.700 photos and 12 maps.

The monograph confirms the fact that Macedonia is a country of legends, traditions, a country-museum, one of churches, monasteries, icons, old architecture, Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska Milevska said at the promotion.

The book is huge step towards promoting of all natural beauties, historic and cultural treasury of our country, she said.

Furthermore, the publication presents the new masterpieces of architecture, erected for the last few years in Skopje, which have been attracting many tourists to visit Macedonia's capital, Kanceska Milevska said. lk/16:42
