"Wizz Air" team of managers says that other possible destinations are being planned for the future.
"This stage is crucial to see how things will develop with these two destinations, London and Venice. There are many fresh ideas and many options are being mulled, but at first we have to see whether the offer works. There is a list of destinations, which has to be carefully evaluated taking into consideration the demand and expenditure of our operations, company's chief commercial officer, Gyorgy Abran told a press conference on Wednesday at the Skopje Airport.
Dejan Mojsovski, director of the Civil Aviation Agency, said that Wizz Air's promotion on the Macedonian market was a proof that country's air transportation had potential. According to statistical data, the number of passengers in the past months has increased for over 20%.
TAV Macedonia's management announced the introduction of new flights during the summer season - Zurich, Düsseldorf, Ancona and Venice, Istanbul and Izmir.
"Wizz Air" was formed seven years ago in 2004. Now it covers almost all of Europe with cheap flights, including, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Serbia and the Baltic states. The company employs 1.450 people and owns 37 Airbus 320 jet airliners.
