Party leader Nikola Gruevski yesterday in Tetovo said that they made master plan for development of Popova Shapka in two stages, one is state’s investment, and the second stage is investment predicted for the potential concessionaire.

- What the state needs to invest is already obligated ELEM, which is building new modern six seat cable car to the ski resort Popova Shapka, construction of parking space for 350 vehicles at Popova Shapka, building new hotel with spa center and new snowboard park at the ski resort Popova Shapka, Gruevski said.

He added that in parallel to this will looked for concessionaire who will be expected to build new trails for skiing, new hotels that will provide possibility for Popova Shapka to become one of the biggest ski resorts in South East Europe and beyond.

Gruevski said that according to the nature of the terrain Popova Shapka is one of the five best ski resorts in Europe and it only takes to invest more than human hand.

ELEM is already doing projects and as Gruevski stressed, ongoing is the Call for a concessionaire.

For this project it is necessary the support of the mayor of Tetovo, because if you do  not adopt detailed urban plan, the project cannot be implemented.
