According to the cost of living index, Zagreb and Belgrade are on the 173rd and the 195th position respectively. The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo takes the 197th position, and Sofia comes on the 207th place.
The cheapest cities in the world are Kharkov and Kiev in Ukraine, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmadabad in India, Kishinev in Moldova, Kiev in Ukraine and Murree in Pakistan.
The most expensive city in the world according to this index is Zurich, followed by Oslo, London, Geneva, Singapore, and New York.
