The shore of the Ohrid lake will be built four luxury hotels that are part of the investment boom that is happening in Ohrid within the hotel business.
The brand “Small luxury hotels” is already part of Ohrid, and at the south side of the hill “Inex Gorica Develop Group” began activities for building luxury hotel that will be link of this chain of 520 hotels found in over 70 countries on all continents.
The facility will be area of about 7 thousand square meters with 100 rooms and 200 beds.
At the channel Studenchica Fibula Air Travel company will build luxury hotel. In nearby already started construction of another hotel probably with four stars.
- In ongoing is the procedure for issuance of building permit to another investment near downtown or the channel Studenchica. It is thecompany Fibula Air Travel which have serious intentions to build hotel of high category, which will have high capacity and area of approximately 25 000 square meters and 400 rooms or about 1000 beds. In nearby already started building another hotel in the same location and according to the information the investor would be likely high class four-star informed Mayor of Ohrid Nikola Bakracheski.
Russians are interested in the former children’s hospital in the region, “St. Stephen” on the shore of the lake to turn it into a hotel.
-It is already published tender for the sale of land at the former children’s hospital whose purpose will be construction of luxury hotel. That means four investments in the area of tourism that will mean strong impetus for the development of not only tourism but also the local economy, said Mayor Bakracheski.
With all these investments Ohrid will finally find safe place on the world tourism map and will meet the requirements and needs of the most demanding guests.
