More than 2,500 masks will be presented at this year's Strumica Carnival.
This year, the president of the organization board, Aleksandar Cicimov, underlined that 41 group will present their masks at the International parade.
"There will be more than 2,500 participants from our country and abroad. Many carnival groups from the neighbor countries will take part, as Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania," said Cicimov.
The organizers expect record number of visitors at this traditional carnival manifestation, which marks 20 years since entering the International Carnival Cities Association.
