Bing once again focuses on Macedonia Tuesday, 15 March 2011  The current Bing (Microsoft search engine) website once again chose to showcase Macedonia to its visitors. On today's front page Bing is showing the church of St John Kaneo, while in squares talks about the young nation which obtained its independence twenty years ago. Bing gives its visitors current news and talks about Macedonia's problem with Greece in which the southern neighbor asks the country changes its name in order to be admitted to the EU. Bing is quite fond of Ohrid lake, as is NASA. In one of the squares Bing explains that NASA was so impressed with Ohrid lake, it gave the same name to a lake located on Saturn's moon Titan. In another square Bing talks about Macedonian history, adding it was the home of Alexander the Great. |
