The ninth edition of street theater outdoors “Basker 2014″ will be held throughout Macedonia in 21 Macedonian municipalities.
The official start is tonight on the town square “Macedonia” in Skopje, and the program begins tomorrow in Gevgelija. Skopje will be host from 6 to 15 June, and the tour will last until June 30 with closing event in Ohrid, Bitola and Dojran.
Street plays will be held in Kochani on 30 and May 31, in Veles on 6 and 7June, in Sveti Nikole on June 7, in Cheshinovo – Oblesevo on June 10, in Kavadarci on 13 and 14 June, in Radovish on 14 June, in Negotino on June 18, in Vinica on 19 and June 20, in Berovo, Makedonska Kamenica and Prilep on 20 and 21 June, in Kriva Palanka, Tetovo, Pehchevo on June 21, in Krushevo on June 22, in Dojran on 27 to June 30, in Resen on June 28, in Ohrid on 28 and 29 June, in Delcevo on June 29 and in Bitola on 29 and 30 June.
Novelty this year are official night after parties of the festival, which will take place across the biggest clubs in the country, and will participate some of the Basker performers and famous DJs from Macedonia and abroad.
This time Macedonia will be host of more than 150 artists, musicians, and theaters around the world, from Japan to Canada through Nigeria and New Zealand.
