Tourist offer of Ohrid and Macedonia was presented at the Dutch Tourism Expo, which was held Jan. 8 -13 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
At the stand which was mutually organised by Ohrid municipality and Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism of the Republic of Macedonia, besides tourist offer also Macedonian wines from several wineries were promoted.
Tourist workers from Ohrid expressed satisfaction from increased interest of the Dutch visitors at the Macedonian stand as a result of engagement of Dutch partner tour operator "Carendon" and "TUI" which already promoted Macedonian tourist offer in Benelux countries. Also representatives of several hotels, restaurants and travel agencies in Ohrid met with famous Dutch tour operators and agreed promotional activities for Dutch tour operators and media to be held this year in Ohrid
