Permanent exhibition for Skopje Old Bazaar

A permanent exhibition for Skopje Old Bazaar will open Tuesday (Jan. 22) in the Museum of Skopje Old Bazaar located in Suli-an. The exhibition will present history and values of Skopje Old Bazaar from 11th-12th century to the present day.

The exhibition includes archaeological part (items excavated in Old Bazaar and Skopje Fortress from Middle Ages to Ottoman period) historical part (photographs, development and life of Skopje Old Bazaar, history of most famous monuments in the bazaar) and ethological part (presentation of life of bazaar, handicrafts, trade and restaurant management).

Also artworks with motives of the Old Bazaar by famous Macedonian artists Martinovski, Pandilov, Vladimirski, Kodzoman, Anastasov, Mazev, Percinkov will be exhibited.
